An article from the Tuteja lab, "Mapping cis-regulatory elements in the midgestation mouse placenta" was published in Scientific Reports today! Dr. Rebekah Starks, a recent PhD student in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, is lead author on the paper. In this article, she uses ChIP-Seq for multiple histone modifications to annotate active and poised promoters and enhancers, as well as regions generally associated with repressed gene expression in the midgestation mouse placenta. Congrats, all!
