Single Nucleus RNA Sequence (snRNAseq) Analysis of the Spectrum of Trophoblast Lineages Generated From Human Pluripotent Stem Cells in vitro

A collaborative manuscript was published in Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology today, joint between the Tuteja lab and Roberts lab! In this manuscript, single nucleus RNAseq was used on a human trophoblast cell culture model. We identified two different clusters of nuclei associated with syncytiotrophoblast-specific gene expression, and plan to do time-course studies during differentiation to further resolve these trophoblast lineages.
